A Note from the Director
As the Executive Director of the Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce, I’m always looking for ways to bring more value to our members and strengthen the connections within our community. That’s why I’m excited to introduce a refreshed approach to Chamber Chat!
Starting this month, Chamber Chat will exclusively feature content from our Chamber members. Whether it’s a special sale, a fundraiser, restaurant news, or showtimes at the local cinema, this is your space to shine. It's one more way we're spotlighting the incredible businesses and organizations that power Mitchell County!
All the best,

Chamber Chat is Getting an Upgrade!
We’re streamlining Chamber Chat to focus entirely on Chamber member content. Here’s what you can expect to see featured each week:
• Business specials
• Local fundraisers
• Job Openings
• Cinema showtimes
• Restaurant offerings and more!
This focused format will help us better promote the great things our members are doing—and make it easier for the community to stay in the loop.

What We’ve Been Working On
Each week, we’ll also share a brief update on what the Chamber has been working on behind the scenes. Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been up to:
• Memorial Parade Planning – We’re excited to be organizing the Memorial Parade on May 24th during Welcome Home Memorial Weekend. This year, we’re adding a float decorating contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place—so get creative! Stay tuned for sponsor announcements.
• Lunch & Learn Prep – We're adding a new series called the Lunch & Learn Sessions. These will take place every quarter! This next session will focus on grant and funding opportunities for local businesses. This is a great chance for Chamber members to learn about financial resources available right here in Mitchell County. Stay tuned for more news and registration information.
• 8-Man All Stars Partnership – We’ve been meeting with the 8-Man All Stars committee as we gear up for the pep rally and games on June 6th & 7th. The Chamber is working with local businesses to welcome visitors, boost community visibility, and create a vibrant experience for all.
• Tourism Collaboration – We’re aligning with community partners to coordinate summer tourism promotions and ensure a strong, unified message about everything Mitchell County has to offer.
• Chamber Operations – Behind the scenes, we’re streamlining day-to-day operations to better align with the Chamber’s mission and vision—ensuring we continue to grow, serve, and lead effectively.
We’re committed to transparency, collaboration, and celebrating progress big or small.
