  • Saturday, May 25 - "Talking Tombstones" will be presented by the Mitchell County Historical Society at the First Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM. Fred Severance will portray Warren C Dockum 1844 - 1921 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient . Ava Constance Smith will portray her great great grandmother Ava Barnett Gentleman 1898 -1991 Early Waconda Springs historian. Admission Free Donations Welcomed.

  • Sunday, May 26 - 5:30 PM  Hunter Historical Mural Dedication in Hunter KS. Enjoy an evening in Hunter with history, music and food. There will be a historical presentation presented by Kyle Peterson (Historical Society Director) at 6:00 PM in the Community Building. Mural Dedication at 7:00 PM Corner of Hwy 181 & First St.. Live Music at 8:00 PM by the Victor Valley Varmits at the Tennis Court.

  • Thursday, May 30 - Chamber Ribbon Cutting at Rest & Restore Massage Therapy at 12pm! Join us for refreshments and learn about all the services offered at at Rest & Restore. Location at Sahlfeld Family Chiropractic 113 E Main, St
